Who am I?
I wasn’t always a Clairvoyant, in fact, my journey to becoming one has been really fun and interesting. I first started exploring energy and spirituality when a good friend gave me “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Brian Weiss. If you haven’t read his books, I highly recommend them. His journey of meeting his guides and others he talks to when pulling clients out of past life regressions was fascinating to me, but also opened up a whole new world for me. I was raised in the Catholic church and distinctly remember having a rather tearful conversation with my best friend in high school, Sarah when she told me that she didn’t really believe in a God, but more of a God Force. It was alarming to me and it made me worry about her soul. My family was always Catholic and I’ve received all of the rites you would expect with a Catholic upbringing, Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Reconciliation. I was an altar girl during mass, part of the church choir, and a lector every now and then. We were involved and it was a large part of my childhood.
Throughout high school, I remember playing with tarot cards with my friends as we rode buses to Marching Band State Championships and Jazz Band contests. I’m pretty sure there was even a night we played with a Ouija board at a friend’s house. I had always had a fascination with all things ethereal and unknown. I do think that spirituality and witch tendencies run pretty deep in my family. It’s not something we talk about a lot, but my maternal grandmother could divine for water. She would walk around our backyard holding a Y shaped stick and it would bend towards the ground when water was present underneath. I remember walking around our backyard trying to do it myself and it wouldn’t work until she placed her hand on my arm, and beeeennnnnddddd, that stick would head towards the ground.
About 15 years ago, I found myself fascinated with Ghost Hunters and shows on cable that would talk about ghosts, yet I am terrified of them, I could not stop watching these shows. Shortly after that, a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go to a one day workshop on How to Be Psychic. I said, yes and off we went to learn from Marilyn Alauria. It was an amazing workshop and I was so amazed at how everyone was able to pull some psychic information from the exercises she taught us. I continued my studies with her when she taught a 6 month, How to Be a Psychic workshop in Los Angeles. We would meet once a month at her house and explore 6 different psychic modalities, working with a partner to complete exercises and challenges. It was an amazing class.
I really stepped into my Clairvoyant abilities when I took an online (yes, online, isn’t technology AND psychic ability amazing?) Clairvoyant Class with Invision Chicago. This 6-month class focused on reading Clairvoyant Pictures with my third eye. The best part of reading pictures is that I can read someone without judgment. By reading a psychic image, I’m simply relaying what I see, without trying to interpret or figure out the image.
